WARROAD
WARRIORS

WE PROUDLY WEAR

OUR NAME.

The Warroad Warriors have been a dominant presence in high school hockey from the very beginning with the boys accounting for 23 state tournament appearances, 3 state championships, and a Mr. Hockey. Some of the early names like Buster Oshie, the Christian Brothers Gordon (Ginnie), Roger, Billy have continued right through to Henry Boucha, Al Hangslebin, Dave Christian, Larry Olimb, Wyatt Smith, and so many others including current Warrior NHLers TJ Oshie and Brock Nelson.

The girls have been equally dominant in their young 23 year experience with 11 trips to the State Tournament and 3 championships. The Warriors were led early by Gigi Marvin a Minnesota Ms. Hockey, but there have been plenty of stars since including Karley Sylvester also a Ms Hockey and x other Division I hockey players.

The Warriors continue to compete at the top level with the Warriors girls finishing as State Champions in 2022 and the boys also playing in the Championship game, coming in 2nd.

Warroad’s “Come Early, Stay Late, Skate Every Day” mantra proudly on display at their Olympic arena is helping develop the next Warrior star right now.

ONCE A WARRIOR.

ALWAYS A WARRIOR.
