A LEGENDARY PAST

A BRIGHT PRESENT & FUTURE

The pinnacle of Minnesota high school hockey is the legendary Minnesota High School Hockey Tournament where the Warroad Warriors boys hockey name is well known. Reaching the state tournament 23 times in tourney history, winning four state championships as well as one Mr. Hockey Award is an achievement well earned.

Names like Buster Oshie, the Christian brothers of Ginny, Roger and Bill, Henry Boucha, Al Hangsleben, Dave Christian, Larry Olimb, Wyatt Smith, TJ Oshie, Gigi Marvin and Brock Nelson have become household names in the State of Hockey. Current NHLers T.J. Oshie and Brock Nelson remain at the top of their games at the world’s highest level.

Warroad’s “Come Early, Stay Late, Skate Every Day” mantra – proudly on display at their Olympic arena – is helping develop the next Warrior star right now.
